Anniversary Weekend in Eugene

Since our anniversary was on a weekday this year, we decided to head out of town to stay at a B&B for the weekend. We ended up heading south to Eugene to explore. We had a wonderful weekend and got quite a taste of the city.

We spent some time sitting, reading, chatting and relaxing on these two chairs
Our bedroom. On the other side of the room was a bathroom with a claw foot tub!!!

For lunch on Sat, we headed to the Eugene Farmers market.

I don't remember what the name is in French, but this has chocolate melted in the middle. Yummy!!!

After lunch we headed to a park and walked around for a bit and found a place to sit down and chill.

Then we headed to another park by the Willamette River

For dinner, I put on the dress that I made and we went to Thai food. It was sooo good. I also got a coconut bubble tea.

Our breakfast on Sunday was super good.

Matthew found this bench at U of O and really thought it was cool.

The campus had some really beautiful flowers.

It was a fabulous weekend. It was so nice to just get away and enjoy each others company!!!

Celebrating our third anniversary!!!!

Three years ago today, I married my best friend and the love of my life. It was a truly wonderful day and one that I will never forget. As many of you know, this past year has had some struggles but the Lord has brought Matthew and I closer through each passing day. I could not think of anyone else I would rather share this life with then him!!!! I pray that the Lord continues to grow us together each passing year and that we may be used of Him to show His love to other people.

Oceon Fishing Trip!!!

My birthday present from my wonderful father-in-law was a salmon fishing trip. So I cashed in on my present yesterday. We went out with a charter and had a blast. Everyone on the boat caught our limit. Here are some pics of our Pacific adventure :-)

Company Golf Tournament

My Dad's company has a golf tournament every year. I have been invited to play for at least 8 years now. This year, Matthew was invited to play as well. It was a fun day and it was capped off by great food and fun prizes as well. Thanks Dad for letting us play with you!!!

So my dad's shot landed in the edge of this water hazard. So being the crazy golfer that he is, he took a shoe and sock off and hit the ball out of the water. I think he got a par anyway on the hole. My dad is crazy good.

Family Picnic

I've got to say, We have the best family in the world!!! We all met two Sunday's ago to enjoy some food together and just hang out and have fun. Here is some of what we did.
