Behold The Throne Of God Above

At my cousins wedding last month, we sang a song which has really touched my heart. I had not remembered hearing it before and was moved by the lyrics. I will post the words and also attempt to link you to the actual song on youtube. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!!

Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A great High Priest whose name is love
Who ever lives and pleads for me
My name is graven on His hands
My name is written on His heart
I know that while in Heav'n He stands
No tongue can bid me thence depart
No tongue can bid me thence depart

When satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end to all my sin
Because the sinless Savior died
My sinful soul is counted free
For God the Just is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me
To look on Him and pardon me

Behold Him there, the risen Lamb
My perfect, spotless Righteousness
The great unchangeable I AM
The King of glory and of grace
One with Himself, I cannot die
My soul is purchased by His blood
My life is hid with Christ on high
With Christ my Savior and my God
With Christ my Savior and my God

Date Night

This past Thursday night we headed out to dinner at Applebees and then went up the the Portland Rose Garden for some beautiful sights and smells. Here are some photos of our night fun night out.

P.S. I have posted five or six new blogs within the past couple days so be sure and click older post to see them all :-)

Baby Karli

Our good friends Seth and Natalie welcomed their first child into the world on Sunday, July 5th. Matthew and I headed up to St. V's to see her the next day. What an adorable little girl. Super cute and surprisingly awake for most of our visit. Can't wait to see and hold her again :-)

Long time friends come for a visit

Christopher and I went to Tech school together and have many great memories studying, playing pin pong and playing cribbage to relieve the stress of school. Him and his wife Dawn live about 3 hours away and we haven't visited in a couple years. In that time they have had twins!!! Andrew and Amelia. It was a great visit and it was sad to see them leave. These kiddos are so much fun. Very active and curious :-)

Ladies Get Together

A couple weeks ago, the Married ladies of 2006 all got together for a nice dinner and fellowship. One of us was missing (Rebekah) and was greatly missed. We did however enjoy the birthday dessert made especially for her. Yummy!!! It was nice to catch up with all the girls. So out of the six of us in the group, there are now three babies and one on the way. Miss Natalie
(here in the pink top) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl this past Sunday. Of course I will post pictures of the very precious little Karli Jane.

The only man in our presence. Mr. Logan. He belongs to Rachel B. who I didn't get a picture of. Sorry Rach.

Nick's Birthday Party

My Cousin Nick was down from Alaska for his little sister's wedding. His birthday happened to occur while he was down here and you know our family. Any excuse for a party :-). It was fun hanging out and getting to see him. He hasn't been down to visit in a couple years.
