Seattle Part 1- Traveling up and the Nature Conservatory

Just a few pics of Matthew and I

So I have never seen such beautiful flowers in one place before. AMAZING!!! Enjoy :-)

These are carnivorous plants. That's right, they eat bugs!!! They trap the bugs and then close up and eat them. They close three times in their lifespan and then die. Pretty cool!!

There were so many amazing plants. I took a lot of pictures of the leaves. I just look at the detail in all of these leaves and see the handy work of our Creator.

The Cactus house was very interesting and really warm.

Shots of various part of the garden. I can't decide which was is my favorite. If you guys have one, please let me know.

Seattle Part 2- Japanese Gardens

The Second part of our day took us to the Seattle Japanese Garden. It was beautiful and full of color as the trees and bushes are all turning color. It was a nice, peaceful walk.

Having fun!!!

Brilliant show of fall colors

Kaelin's Dedication

This Handsome little man was dedicated this past Sunday up in the Seattle area. We were able to go up and show our support to him and his parents, our friends Jon and Katie.

Thanks for inviting us up Jon and Katie!!!

Things that make me smile :-)

My Handsome Husband came home the other day and brought me these!!!! I wasn't expecting anything and it was a great surprise :-).

I also got my passport the other day. I must say, I had forgotten it would be coming from the government, so when I saw the envelope with my name on it from the US government, I was a little freaked out. Now I can officially wander the earth!!!

What's a girl to do.........

With all my free time, that is? I haven't started work yet, so I have been doing lots of little projects around the house. I really have been enjoying this time to organize, clean and create.

Finally got around to redoing the dining room chairs.

We now have a pet. Pearson is his name and he is a beautiful blue Betta fish. Matthew bought me this tank and all the fixings as a graduation present. Love it!!!

Just got done reading this amazing series. I highly recommend them!!!

For our anniversary, I got a little creative and painted the background for these pictures and then glued the letters on and gave them a paint wash. They are hanging in our office.

Yesterday, I organized the kitchen pantry. I bought shelf liners and had fun figuring out what was type of food was actually hidden in there :-)

I'm not quite sure what the next project will be, but today I am cleaning the house and steam cleaning the carpets. Busy, busy but oh so fun!!!
