Labor Day Weekend-Detroit Lake

We spent Labor Day Weekend up at the Lake House. Saturday we went hiking and took all the dogs with us. Ginger is trying to get up front with all the people.

Isaac's first time on the boat. He did really well. Didn't care for the life jacket that much but once we got him distracted, he did great :-)

Five Year Anniversary Weekend!!!

Our five year anniversary was August 25th. We decided to drop the little man off at Grandpa and Grandma's house and we headed to Hood River for a wonderful weekend away. We staid at the Husum Highlands B&B and it was lovely. It was nice to get some adult time and just have some fun together away from life back home. Here are some pics of our weekend adventure.

We stopped at the Bonnaville Dam to see the fish ladder (I had never been there) and saw some amazingly big fish. This one below is a sturgeon about 12 feet long.
