Crazy summer time

We have had a busy summer. Full of fun things and time spent with family and friends. Here are some pictures of some things we have been up to recently. There are more adventures to post so please check back in the next couple days to see the rest!!!

A couple weeks ago my father-in-law took me out on our annual ocean salmon fishing trip. We usually go with a charter boat service but this year, one of his college buddies was in town and he owns a Dory boat. We got up at 3 in the morning to head to Pacific City and were out on the ocean by 6. We caught some fish but they were all natives so we had to throw them back. We both had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again next year.

The weekend of Aug. 15th, my family all headed up to Seattle to play around and watch a Mariner game. We all had a blast. It was fun to take Isaac on his first road trip up north!!!

They have two boys and their youngest is a month old.

This past weekend I got to host my little sister's bridal shower!!! It was fun putting the party together and getting to help her celebrate her upcoming wedding.

Three months old

It is hard to believe that our little guy is three months old (as of three weeks ago). The time is flying by and he just gets cuter and more fun each day. He is a joy and fills our days with smiles and laughter. OK, he does cry and fusses on occasion as well but for the most part he is a really happy little kid.

We did some sleep training and he has been sleeping through the night since 9 weeks (10-7am) which has been a huge blessing since I don't function well on interrupted sleep. Our daytime napping still isn't to predictable but we are working on that too.

He laughs and talks a lot during the day. It is fun to hear his little voice and wonder what he is trying to communicate :-).

Isaac is very close to rolling over. He has gotten 3/4 the way there and his little arm keeps him from going all the way. I am trying to get the first role on video but we will see. He gets frustrated when he can't do it and it is funny to see his little face concentrate so hard.

His favorite toy is a butterfly teether. His eyes will follow it around wherever you take it. He is also starting to notice his other toys and trying to pick things up and put them in his mouth. Such a fun stage!!!
